The Little Ghost Town is located on the intersection of two highways 501 & 62 at the Del Bonita Port of Entry on the Alberta/Montana border. Del Bonita has a population of 5. It has a community hall next door, general store across the street and three residences, a church, a privately owned school and two teacherages (that are also negotiable for sale along with this property). The 501 is a great tourist highway for a scenic route from Waterton National Park to Writing-on-stone Provincial Park. Two miles south of us is a parcel service for Canadians which is bringing a lot more traffic year round on Highway 62.
Our pioneer stores have slowly been restored over the last 15 years. It has been a passion of mine to see them completed but I have now moved away so it will be impossible. Would love to see someone continue to restore these wonderful pieces of history!
The 1912 homestead house is set up as a Bed & Breakfast full of antiques and charm! The Red and White Store, Hardware Store, Oil Shed and Huey Gum Restaurant Pool Hall & Rooms have been restored as an antique shop, ice cream shop and museum in two of the stores, the other two are still under construction. The house is attached to the stores creating a pioneer mall set on 2.5 acres with a potential of 6 sub dividable lots. The acreage is fenced and has a barn, swing set and outhouse in the rear.
Click on each picture of the buildings to acquire square footage and details about each, also a list of inclusions. If you have any questions feel free to email! We would be glad to work with realtors if you have a client interested as well.
